I am not a doctor but because of experience and having to make the big decision myself, i also suggest, in order for a child to grow up happy and also at a later stage in life when adult too, not to do any operations etc but wait and let that child decide for him or herself, and this will defintely help mentally and physically. But follow your kids wishes and development and do take notice and write down everything you see happening with your child from an early age and watch the behaviour carefully. The story of Brenda(David Rheimer) is really sad but that was a medical accident cause he was circumsized and instead of removing a small piece of the foreskin as usual the surgeon removed too much. And therefore there wasnt hardly any defined genital left over anymore and maybe cause of infections etc, there really wasnt anymore tissue left to keep him as a male and function as one. But they then used female hormones to manipulate his sex which was totally wrong. But this is an example for parents not to make too drastic changes if kids are born differently or if there is an accident cause changing a sex unwillingly never turns out to be good for that child as an adult.
